(Ying and I on the bus: Singapore)

I’m rarely too indulgent with my photos as regards Ying and I; there are actually very few nice pictures of us together at all – I am far too busy taking pictures of interesting things to be bothered with recording our mugs in tandem. However, on the bus as we travelled into Singapore’s central metropolis, the feeling came upon me. We have been captured in the bus driver’s mirror on the top tier of the two level bus. The views from the front seat are marvelous, but this picture somehow has more appeal.

It has been a very busy couple of days, hence the fluctuating amounts of news from me. Today was official flat ‘Defrost Day’ during which each of the home residents defrosted our white goods in shifts. For the weekend, I’m away to Milan to meet Ying for a tiny minibreak before his hectic European meetings. I’ll be back on home ground early next week, but will make it back to Glasgow, certainly by Tuesday. I won’t be updating this as time (and luggage allowances) are far too stringent. More news as it comes.

– Today (and for the next couple of days) Rosie is travelling to, from or in Northern Italy –
