All tied up

One more of the goofball sisters; I understand that you may have had enough of their silly showing off by now, but personally, I find it adorably irresistible. I promise some slightly more sensible posts will follow soon.
Jane is on the left and has been accosted and dressed with such alacrity by the imperially dressed youngsters that she is still wearing her bag. My mother is on the right, looking very much more sweet in her outfit. You can see that although the dresses are striking from the front, from the back they are merely tied with apron strings and one size really does fit all. We were in fits of giggles as the little strings on Jane’s have been tied right over the entire bag. This escapade was a production line affair with more tourists dressing and undressing, or rather being dressed and undressed all around us. To finish, the headdress was a deceptively shabby wire contraption that was extremely painful to wear – I hope the real deal was much less abrasive on the imperial scalp.
